What personal data we collect

Registration and Profile Information

You must create a Baojai account in order to use our Service. You can create an account by providing your name and telephone number. You may also create an account by providing credentials to a social media account profile or use your Google account.

You may also voluntarily add or edit your Baojai profile information such as phone number, gender, height, and weight, and information related to your health such as your congenital disease, A1C level and your personal goal.

Information Access and Collection

This mobile application may access or collect personal information and non-personal information. This information is accessed and collected in a variety of ways, including through the operating system of your mobile device and through information you submit through the mobile application.

Information Stored on Your Mobile Device

With your permission, we may collect information stored on your mobile device, such as photos, or access resources on your mobile device, such as the camera.

Communications

We will collect information you provide when you communicate with us, such as any communication with our health admin or our customer support.

Third Party Applications

You may have the option of integrating your Baojai account with Apple Health or Google fit to request for your activity and location information. If you choose to do so, we may request your permission to access information about you from Apple, Google fit and from third party applications. We will not access this information without your permission.

We will use this information to provide you the lifestyle intervention service.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Third Party Applications

We offer the ability to integrate your Baojai account with Apple’s Health or Google fit. If you do, we will share your information with Apple if you give us permission to do so. If you connect your Baojai account to a third party application through Health or Fit, you may be asked to share your information with that application. We will not share your information without your permission.

Baojai will not use or disclose to third parties user data gathered from Health or Fit for advertising or other use-based data mining purposes other than improving health.

Aggregate Data

We may share aggregate data that does not identify you with third party partners.

As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures

We may access, preserve, and disclose information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; respond to your requests; or protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety.

With Your Consent

We may also disclose your information with your permission.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Accessing or Modifying Your Information

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you by emailing us at privacy@popmed.co. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
